On Friday I went to Fernbank to see the water exhibit. I learned that Atlanta gets most of its water from the Chattahoochee River. I also learned that people in Africa play for fresh water. There are special merry go rounds that pump fresh water from a well. Then I learned that the U.S.A. uses the most water per person. Finally I learned that dams can cause less animals because it causes less sediment which disturbs their habitat. Let's all start giving fresh water to other countries and not take what we have for granted.
Yes, Perry, I agree! We need to not take what we have for granted! We should be very thankful each time we turn on the water to take a bath, brush our teeth or get a cool drink. Many people would think they were very rich if they lived in a house with running water! Thank you, God!
