Indian Pow Wow

On Friday I went to Stone Mountain to see an Indian Pow Wow. First we saw some Indian dancing. Second we saw some Indian jewelry. Last we learned some Indian traditions. For example they wore deer skin clothes and they lived in teepees. We should treat Indians fairly and they would treat us fairly too.

  1. That was a great learning experiance. It was not fair the way the indians were treated, but we can learn from that and treat others better.

  2. Did you know you are a little bit American Indian? Your great, great granmother was 1/4 Cherokee. How about that? Maybe sometime you can study more about that tribe. There were a lot of them around the Smokie Mountain area many years ago. They have a sad, but very interesting history.
I'm glad you got to see all that! Nana
